Yoga + Creativity Workshop: You don't want to miss this workshop. Join Melita for an exploration of creativity as an extension of your yoga practice. Spend time indulging in creative play by making a vision board, meditating, practicing yoga, discussing ways to live more creatively, and engaging in svadyaya (self-study) while communing with like-minded friends.

Creative visualization is a mental technique that uses the imagination to make dreams become realities. We start by flipping through magazines, pulling out any images that make you smile. Taking the images that speak to you, we’ll glue them down on a folder and make a vision board.

All you need to bring is your journal, your tea mug, old magazines that you don’t mind cutting up and an open heart & mind.

Workshop is 3 ½ hours. Cost is $40 and includes a free goodie bag. Tea and light snacks will be provided. Space is limited, please reserve your spot by e-mailing Melita: melitamollohan@gmail.com.

Beginner Tai Chi: You have probably heard about it, seen movies that show people flocking to parks and open spaces practicing this ancient art, you probably saw the awesome display of it during the Beijing Olympics. And you can learn it and experience the positive benefits in our little corner of the world. Contact kungfugenius0@gmail.com to sign up and for details.

Intermediate Tai Chi: For participants who have taken a level 1 class from Joe or practiced in other settings. Contact kungfugenius0@gmail.com to sign up and for details.

Yoga Sampler: This yoga sampler will be an easy vinyasa flow with a few yin poses thrown in for good measure. All levels welcome.

Runic Healing Workshop: A unique synthesis of Color Therapy, Kabbalah, Vibrational Healing, Reiki Principles, the Chakra System, Polarity Theory And Herbal Aromatherapy From the Asatru Celtic/Norse perspective. Students will learn of the World Tree, the Nine Worlds and their associated Key Runes, the Rainbow Bridge and how to perform this balancing technique. $50.00

Kundalini Yoga Workshop: Kriyas for Detox: Fatigue and stress are often a result of run-down organs that are unable to optimally filter toxins and waste from the body. This Kundalini workshop will focus on enhancing the functions of the kidneys and liver, while also increasing energy, improving circulation, and freeing the mind from fears and worries.

Kundalini yoga helps to promote our inherent right to feel happy, healthy, and peaceful. The science of Kundalini yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, is a 5,000 year old practice that combines breath work, repetitive exercises (kriyas), meditation and mantra to awaken the flow of prana (life-force energy) and to allow the body and mind to work cohesively towards the ultimate goal of joy and vitality.

For more information about Kriyas for Detox, please contact Heidi Sherwin, RYT at heidisherwin11@gmaill.com. $15.00

Bliss Book Club: During the July meeting we will be discussing "House Rules" by Jodi Picoult. Again, just a reminder: please bring your own mug to the meeting - all teas and extras will be provided. In August, we will be meeting to watch "Eat, Pray, Love" the movie. We will gather after the movie to discuss it and the book, "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert at a nearby locally owned restaurant. Choices are Kenyan Cafe or Zen Clay Cafe (please e-mail Melita your vote of which restaurant). Dates and locations to be announced. Please be sure to pass this info onto anyone who you think would enjoy a book club and tell your friends - the more the merrier!! If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to e-mail Melita: melitamollohan@gmail.com. This is a FREE event!

FREE Women's Clothes Swap: Jeans no longer fitting quite right? Tired of that same old shirt? Wanting something new but just don't have the extra money to do some shopping? If you said yes to any of these questions then please join our FREE clothing swap. Bring any clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc. that you no longer want and swap for something that catches your eye. There are no rules, just bring whatever you can, take whatever you can, and the rest will be donated to the Christian Help Center in Morgantown. Be sure to invite your friends, neighbors, and family so they can join in on the swapping fun. Hot tea & snacks will be provided, all we ask is that you provide your own tea mug.
