we spent our time together journaling, practicing yoga, meditating, creating vision boards and an open discussion about how to add creativity to our daily lives. all the while enjoying tea, snacks and each others company.

angela's vision boards are about finding balance of being a good mom yet finding time for self-care (this workshop being part of that self-care)
some ideas for adding a little more creativity into your everyday:- start a blog (or add to your existing one)
- buy yourself flowers
- carry around a camera so you can snap inspiration at a moment's notice
- travel
- try a new local restaurant
- create a vision board
- send a snail mail card
- volunteer
- try to recreate your favorite restaurant dish at home
- try a new yoga pose or yoga class
- write in your journal
- draw or sketch
- take an artist's date
- browse a bookstore for ideas
- go to michael's
- write an article about something you love and submit it for publication in a local paper
