Yoga Sampler: Honor the Full Moon with a Gentle Yoga Sampler class this Saturday, July 31 from 6 - 7pm. Heidi will lead a gentle flow of asanas (postures), including the Kripalu-style Moon Salutation, that will help to ground our energy, open the hips, and cool the mind. The Full Moon is a wonderful reminder to practice gratitude for the fullness in our lives and to realize that we already possess all we need to make our lives happy. All levels welcome.
1st Sunday Restorative Workshop: Clients who have tried this class love the restful yoga postures of Restorative Yoga as they are supported by several props, such as bolsters, pillows and blankets. These poses are held longer than in other yoga classes to enhance the release of tension related to stress, muscular tightness, or any other factors that leave one feeling imbalanced. Benefits include soothing the nervous system, nourishing muscles and organs, and mental clarity. No prior yoga experience necessary. This class is a must for those who need to unwind from busy lives and reconnect with the body. Contact heidisherwin11@gmail.com to sign up and for details. $15.
